That same friend said

As the one he could have won

A friend said it can’t be real
That the person wasn’t meant for me
When I got promoted
He said I am running at a very fast speed
I wanted to get a house
My friend said I need to rethink it
Then I pretended I failed and lost it all
Now, I say I need him to help me
That friend said he already told me
But my friend?
He already left me
